Teen Company

 

ECTC’s Teen Company is a focused training program for students to pursue advanced theatre education and mentorship. This program provides personalized, hands-on, collaborative learning. Lessons are production/product-based in an inclusive, active environment. Training received in this program will be advantageous for college prep and future professional theatre endeavors. Students will receive diverse, upper-level training in the art of theatre, perform in multiple productions throughout the season, and build audition repertoires/tech portfolios to be used toward collegiate theatre program auditions and scholarships while building professional theatre resume credits. 


WHO CAN JOIN?

Any student in grade 9th - 12th, regardless of which school they attend, who is passionate about theatre and fine arts, and has a desire to continue their theatre education to advanced levels and elevate their performance in the craft.

Attendance

  • Minimal conflicts and regular attendance are mandatory; A season schedule will be given at the start of the course. All conflicts must be stated/communicated in advance.

  • Email Updates, Parent Meetings, Mobile Group Apps such as BAND or REMIND

WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL COSTS BEYOND THE TUITION FEE?*

Yes. Additional costs to be considered include accommodations, meal and travel expenses for any educational trips, as well as,  performance fees and guest entry fees for parents/family to attend the competition as audience members.

WHO, WHEN, AND WHERE?

ECTC Director of Education Mr Heath (MC) Carroll will be your Company Director / Leader. Rehearsals will begin with a week-long Summer Intensive - July 29 - August 2, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm followed by weekly rehearsals on Saturdays from 1:00-4:00pm beginning on August 10 at ECTC, 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 200.

ECTC Teen Company (9th-12th Grade)

Course involves opportunities for performance, college auditions, workshops, and competition at the Florida Theatre Conference in Winter Garden in the Fall.

Tuition: $1,250

AUGUST 10 - April 19          Saturdays 1PM - 4PM

This is a year-long commitment.

*Final showcase will be held April 19, 2025
**Individual coaching session fees are included in this class tuition.
***Fees for Acting for Musical Theatre and ONE Dance Class of your choosing are included in the class tuition.

 

Jr Thespian Troupe / Teen Company: Season 12 Prep-Camp 

(Jr Thespian Troupe / Teen Company ONLY) 

Start your season off right! We’ll review our techniques, discuss upcoming shows and events, and choose audition pieces! Get an early start on your Thespian events and FTC One Act! This is the time to choose your pieces to work on for the upcoming semester. There will be plenty of activities, theatre sports, and even a mini audition workshop. New members of Troupe and Teen Co will have the opportunity to get to know and work alongside our team of veteran members. Remember: Troupe and Teen Co is an honor society of hard-working, future theatre professionals! And it would be our honor to have you join us for this season’s prep-camp!
